Basel Uraiqat is an architect and artist. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from the University of Jordan, and studied fine arts at Slade School of Fine Arts – UCL. He worked for a number of years in architectural practice in Amman and undergone training in Warsaw – Poland before creating Atelier Uraiqat with partner Basma Abdallah. In addition to his practical experience, Basel has participated in intensive international courses in environmental and digital design in London and Shanghai. He is specialized in digital design methods and seeks to integrate architecture and art.

 

 

Basma Abdallah is an architect and a specialist in architectural theory. She holds a Master’s degree in architectural theory and design from the University of Nottingham, and a Bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from the University of Jordan, and she has won several awards during her studies for academic performance. She worked for a number of years in architectural practice and research in Amman before creating Atelier Uraiqat with partner Basel Uraiqat. In Addition to her work in practice she is also a lecturer at the German-Jordanian University teaching history, theory and architectural design.
